Warranty Policy
This policy was last revised on 13 July 2026. This page was published on 5 September 2026.
PupHut offers a One-Year Limited Warranty on completed PupHut residences, beginning on the date of delivery. This warranty is included automatically and protects against covered defects in materials, craftsmanship, and approved hardware under normal indoor residential use.
PupHut residences are handcrafted indoor dog residences for design-conscious homes. They are furniture-grade pieces, not outdoor structures, travel crates, rugged kennels, or chew-proof, scratch-proof, escape-proof, or indestructible products.
What is covered, and what is not
The warranty may cover structural issues, significant wood or material defects, approved hardware functionality concerns, or verified finish defects caused by material or application failure. It does not cover normal wear, minor scuffs, cosmetic aging, pet-caused damage, chewing, scratching, accidents, improper care, outdoor or moisture exposure, unauthorized repairs, customer modifications, or cosmetic concerns that do not materially affect function.
Soft goods and bedding
Where soft goods are included with a PupHut order, concerns may be reviewed for manufacturing defects such as seam failure, closure defects, material flaws, or sizing and fit errors caused by PupHut. Soft-goods coverage does not include chewing, scratching, staining, odour, pet accidents, laundering outside care instructions, shrinkage or fading caused by improper care, normal compression, normal textile wear, or comfort preference. Final coverage periods and replacement methods for soft goods remain to be confirmed pending product-specific approval.
How to begin a warranty review
To begin a warranty review, please provide your order details, clear photos or video, and a brief description of what occurred. PupHut aims to review warranty claims within 3 to 5 business days after receiving the required information. If a covered issue is confirmed, PupHut will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement parts, replacement, credit, refund, or another suitable resolution, depending on the issue and product availability.
Warranty concerns reach us through the Concierge.
How the warranty is held
This warranty is held by the original Resident's household, the original purchaser or an approved gift recipient recorded when the commission began. It does not pass automatically through a private sale, a gift, inheritance, or any later change of ownership. Refund and cancellation timing is governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy. Where an issue is not covered by warranty, PupHut may still support customers through customer care or Residence Stewardship pathways where available.
Caring for your residence
